Teamsters Achieve Breakthrough Contract for Fontana's Public Sector Workers

(FONTANA, Calif.) – Public sector employees in the City of Fontana, represented by Teamsters Local 1932, have ratified a groundbreaking contract. This marks a pivotal victory for the workers who ensure the city's infrastructure and public services, including parks, sewers, streets, and storm systems, are maintained.

The three-year contract signifies a significant recognition of the Teamsters' essential role. It includes salary increases, enhanced health insurance, and a new retiree medical benefit. These gains were secured after months of dedicated negotiations, demonstrating the strength of worker unity.
