- A tentative agreement is in progress that will lead to the implementation of a Continuous Improvement Committee to ensure involvement in process changes and address unfair standards.

Bargaining Committee Presents Demands to Company
Our bargaining committee engaged with the company today, putting forth additional demands. The company proposed a shift in the start time of 2nd shift to 12:00 pm. We swiftly reminded them of an underutilised mid-shift opportunity. Our members displayed their disinterest in this change with only three volunteering.
We're progressing towards a tentative agreement that ensures our future voice. We plan to establish a Continuous Improvement Committee to secure involvement with Process changes. This committee serves as a platform to challenge the unfair quality and production standards that have continually deteriorated working conditions. No more changes compromising our health & safety.
The company is advocating for a tighter phone policy, prohibiting all phones and smart watches on the floor. We maintain, NO CONCESSIONS.
They audaciously proposed a harsher overtime policy. Again, we affirm, NO CONCESSIONS.
We're slated to return to the table on May 28th. Join us on Thursday, May 23rd at 2:30 pm at the hill's flagpole to show BMW that we, as UAW members, mean business!

Our negotiation committee met with the company today, presenting further demands. The company suggested moving the second shift's start time to 12:00 pm. We promptly reminded them of a mid-shift opportunity they're neglecting. Clearly, our members are not interested in this change with only three volunteering.
We're advancing towards an agreement that will give us a voice in the future. We're implementing a Continuous Improvement Committee to guarantee engagement with future Process changes. This committee opens opportunities to address the unjust quality and production standards worsening our working conditions annually. No more health & safety-threatening changes.
The company desires a stricter phone policy, banning all phones and smart watches from the floor. We say, NO CONCESSIONS.
They even had the nerve to ask for a more abusive overtime policy. We say, NO CONCESSIONS.
We'll be back at the table on May 28th. Join us this Thursday, May 23rd at 2:30 pm at the flagpole on the hill to show BMW that we, UAW members, are serious!
