Teamsters Airline Division Underwing Director Bob Fisher and Safety Coordinator Chris Moore took part in the 18th Annual Aviation Education & Career Expo in Hagerstown, Maryland, on Friday, Nov. 8.
This aviation career expo connects over 1,000 high school and college students from DC, Maryland, and Virginia with aviation career opportunities, allowing them to interact with industry experts, including Teamsters members.
“It’s inspiring to see young people interested in aviation careers,” Fisher noted. “Aviation is the safest transport mode thanks to the dedicated roles in the industry. Teamsters aim to maintain this standard by engaging students early.”
As a sponsor, Teamsters Airline Division will award $180,000 in scholarships.
