The Family Education Center has been serving UAW members and their families for over 45 years, offering educational and recreational experiences. The UAW Family Scholarship Program, a one-week summer program, aims to enhance appreciation and understanding of the union. The program is open to all active or laid-off UAW members in good standing and will be held from July 21-26, 2024 at the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center in Onaway, Michigan.
UAW Family Scholarship Program: A Unique Blend of Education and Recreation
For over four decades, UAW members and their families have been gathering at the Family Education Center. This hub offers a unique fusion of knowledge and leisure, promoting enlightenment about our union, sparking creative ideas, and fostering friendships among UAW families.
This centerpiece of UAW community, the UAW Family Scholarship Program, is a week-long summer initiative designed to deepen your understanding and admiration of our union. The experience is sure to leave your family inspired and enriched.
Who can participate? All active or laid-off UAW members in good standing.
