National Nurses United to Support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in Pittsburgh Canvassing Effort

This Saturday, October 12, members of the National Nurses United (NNU) union will be canvassing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to rally support for Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz, and the Democratic presidential ticket. The NNU, which is the largest union of registered nurses in the United States, officially endorsed Harris for President on July 23.

Nancy Hagans, RN, president of National Nurses United, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “Registered nurses with National Nurses United are excited to talk to the people of Pittsburgh about why we must elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz for president and vice president.” She emphasized the union's commitment to advocating for leaders who support working families and union workers, and who view healthcare as a fundamental right.

Hagans added, “Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz have shown their commitment to the people of this country and to expanding our freedoms and improving our lives. We know that the Harris-Walz ticket is the best choice to protect our patients and ourselves.”
