Free UAW Health & Safety Training Offered in 2026 for All Members
UAW Offers Complimentary Health and Safety Training for Members
The United Auto Workers (UAW) has announced a new initiative to provide free health and safety training to its members. This training opportunity is made possible through grant funding from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Consultation Education and Training (CET) Program.
These educational courses are designed to enhance workplace health and safety knowledge among UAW members. Participation is encouraged for Local Health and Safety Representatives, International Staff Representatives, union officers, and stewards, as well as any UAW member interested in expanding their understanding of workplace safety practices.
Training sessions will be held at UAW Regional offices 1, 1A, and 1D. These sessions are scheduled to continue throughout the year 2026, offering ample opportunity for members to attend the sessions that fit their schedules.
