Washington, D.C. – September 3, 2024 – From Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, more than 5,000 tradeswomen, along with top labor, government, and industry leaders from North America, will gather in New Orleans for the 14th annual Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference.
Hosted by North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU), TWBN is the largest annual building trades conference globally, uniting tradeswomen from the U.S. and Canada. The three-day event promotes leadership, mentorship, activism, and sisterhood, addressing crucial issues for tradeswomen worldwide.
This year’s theme, “Let the good jobs roll,” includes plenary sessions, workshops, panels, a banner parade, and networking opportunities aimed at empowering tradeswomen and enhancing their skills. The conference focuses on uplifting women in the industry, promoting recruitment and retention, increasing health and safety education, and expanding tradeswomen's engagement in the workplace and unions. It also emphasizes the significance of the Infrastructure Generation and the importance of the November election.
