ATLANTA – March 18, 2025 – A significant economic boost is on the horizon for Dunwoody, as TriNet, a leader in HR solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, has announced plans to establish a new corporate center. This development is expected to generate 750 new jobs over the next five years, with an associated investment of approximately $15.4 million in DeKalb County.

Governor Brian Kemp expressed enthusiasm about the announcement, noting, “As the No. 1 state for business, one of the key drivers of our success is our metro Atlanta area that continues to attract a strong ecosystem of job creators like TriNet.” He emphasized the importance of TriNet's services in enhancing the region's business network.

TriNet's decision to expand into metro Atlanta is driven by the area's thriving business community and the potential to collaborate with local universities. "We look forward to opening a new TriNet office in metro Atlanta and becoming a part of this vibrant and growing business community," said Mike Simonds, TriNet President and CEO.

TriNet will establish its new office in a 150,000-square-foot space in Dunwoody, with hiring already underway for positions in technology, HR consulting, client management, and sales. This expansion is aimed at growing TriNet's presence in Atlanta and the Southeast.

Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch welcomed the investment, stating, “Dunwoody provides the ideal setting for TriNet, offering unparalleled access to the region’s talented workforce.” The mayor highlighted the benefits this move brings to the local community, including hundreds of new jobs.

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson remarked on the significance of TriNet's investment, citing it as evidence of the area’s robust business environment. “The creation of 750 new jobs will bring invaluable opportunities to our residents while reinforcing DeKalb as a premier destination for corporate growth and innovation,” she stated.

The Metro Atlanta Chamber also highlighted the strategic advantage of TriNet's new location. Katie Kirkpatrick, President and CEO of the chamber, pointed out the company's access to a pipeline of talent from local universities, which positions TriNet to foster the next generation of HR professionals.

Partnerships played a crucial role in bringing TriNet to Georgia. The Georgia Department of Economic Development's Global Commerce team, along with the City of Dunwoody and other local organizations, facilitated the project. Commissioner Pat Wilson commented, “TriNet’s decision to locate in Georgia reflects the confidence companies have in the state as a hub for innovation, talent, and long-term success.”
