Shapiro Administration Invests $4.1M in PIDA Loans for PA Businesses
The Shapiro Administration Allocates Over $4.1 Million to Boost Business Growth in Pennsylvania
The state of Pennsylvania is making a significant financial commitment to stimulate local economies and create employment opportunities. The Shapiro Administration has announced an investment exceeding $4.1 million in the form of new loans from the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA). These loans are aimed at fostering business growth in Bucks, Erie, and Lancaster counties.
In a bid to strengthen the state's economic infrastructure, these strategic PIDA loans are expected to inject more than $15.2 million into the local economy. This financial boost is anticipated to facilitate the creation of 34 new jobs while retaining 98 current positions. The investment underscores the administration's focus on bolstering business operations and supporting the workforce in key counties.
Since the Shapiro Administration took office, there has been a concerted effort to enhance economic opportunities across Pennsylvania. The funds allocated through these loans are part of a broader initiative to ensure that businesses have the necessary support to thrive and expand, thereby contributing to the state's overall economic health.
