Woodward MPC Workers Demand Fair Contract and Industry-Leading Wages[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ7_MEBc2GE[/embed]
Woodward MPC employees have released a video as part of their campaign for a fair contract, citing prolonged delays by their employer. The video is accessible to both media and the public for viewing.
The video can be VIEWED HERE.
Employees express their contribution by stating, “Our work keeps planes in the air, maintains our nation’s defenses, and keeps Woodward making billions. So, where’s our cut?”
In the previous year, these workers chose to affiliate with the UAW and are currently engaged in contract negotiations with Woodward, an aerospace and defense firm. However, Woodward is allegedly violating US labor law by refusing to engage in negotiations.
Highlighting disparities, the employees mention, “In 2025, CEO Chip Blankenship made $11.3 million dollars,” and contrast this with their struggles, “While we’re struggling to buy groceries.”
Since 2020, Woodward has reportedly earned over $1.8 billion in profits. Of this, more than $1.4 billion has been directed towards Wall Street through stock buybacks and dividends.
Workers assert their demands as, “We are Woodward MPC-UAW. We demand Woodward get back to bargaining table. We demand a fair and clear level progression. We demand industry-leading wages. We demand respect at Woodward MPC.”
