Mark Davison, Teamsters Western Region International Vice President, said that Oregon warehouse workers have long faced hazardous conditions due to unrealistic production quotas. Davison praised Gov. Kotek's signing of HB 4127 as a significant move towards ensuring worker safety and addressing exploitative quotas.

Teamsters Local 223's Secretary-Treasurer Austin DePaolo lauded the law for enhancing transparency and holding companies accountable for imposing arbitrary quotas. He expressed gratitude to the state legislature and Gov. Kotek for safeguarding workers and enhancing safety standards.

Teamsters Local 305's Steve Konopa elaborated that the law prioritizes worker safety and rights by setting clear employment expectations and eliminating arbitrary quota systems. He thanked Gov. Tina Kotek and various legislative members for supporting this crucial legislation.

Teamsters nationwide continues advocating for laws protecting warehouse workers' rights and addressing unrealistic quotas and unsafe conditions. California, Connecticut, New York, Washington, Minnesota, and other states have enacted similar laws.
