Union Bargaining Updates
After an extensive session with the company, your bargaining committee introduced several new demands.
The first demand included the formation of a Continuous Improvement Committee, comprised of our colleagues, to collaborate with the company on addressing harsh Production and Quality standards.
After 15 years of dedicated service, the second demand sought an additional week of vacation. However, the company declared the current vacation time sufficient.
The third demand, a secure location for union activities and devoted time for union duties, was dismissed.
The company suggested swapping three Floating Holidays for three Observed Holidays, but no concessions will be made.
The company seemed open to simplifying vacation scheduling, yet remained unwilling to offer further restroom facilities.
The company focused majorly on a compulsory 10-minute stretching period.
