Marking a significant step in its growth journey, Jassper Shipping, a renowned project logistics and specialized cargo solutions company, has unveiled plans for a substantial investment. The investment aligns with India's expanding infrastructure, manufacturing, and energy sectors, integrating industrial supply chain capabilities across multiple regions. In the first phase, the company plans to invest US$10 million into its B2B project logistics segment, focusing on power, steel, petrochemicals, heavy engineering, manufacturing, and large infrastructure sectors.

According to McKinsey & Company, the global project logistics market is expected to surpass US$400 billion by 2030, driven by infrastructure developments, energy transition expenditures, and restructuring of trade routes. The World Economic Forum has highlighted that capital is increasingly being directed towards emerging-market corridors, including India, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia.

India's Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways reported that the country's major ports managed 915.17 million tonnes of cargo in the fiscal year 2025–26, representing a 7.06% increase year-on-year. This data reflects a growing demand for specialized cargo handling, port connectivity, and inland transport.

"India is in the middle of a multi-year investment cycle across infrastructure and industry, and that is opening up real opportunities for specialised logistics players. Our US$50 million programme is about building the scale and execution strength to participate in that — and to do it from India, radiating outward to the Gulf and our other international corridors," stated Pushpank Kaushik, CEO & Head of Business Development (Subcontinent, Middle East & Southeast Asia), Jassper Shipping.
