UAW Region 4 Members Advocate for Union Recognition

The Local 2320 Immigrant Justice Workers United Unit of UAW Region 4 recently convened within office premises to present a letter of solidarity to their Executive Director. Their primary request is for the recognition of Coordinators, Legal Fellows, and additional staff as members of the UAW National Organization of Legal Services Workers (NOLSW).

A significant majority of these workers have already signed Union cards, signaling their desire to advocate for improved wages and working conditions, aligning themselves with their Union counterparts. This move is seen as a step toward unifying efforts to enhance workplace standards.

The call for solidarity and support is extended to the newest members who are actively seeking voluntary recognition to be assimilated into the existing Immigrant Justice Workers United bargaining unit.
