Pennsylvania's 2026-27 budget, signed by Governor Josh Shapiro, has allocated $125 million for school infrastructure improvements. A substantial portion, $100 million, is designated for the Public School Facility Grant Program. This program is a key component of the administration's efforts to modernize and maintain safe and conducive learning environments across the state.

Since Governor Shapiro assumed office, nearly $175 million has been invested in 208 schools through this program. These funds are intended to support renovations and upgrades that are critical for maintaining high educational standards and ensuring the safety of students and staff.
