The 60 employees, crucial to the global success of the calcium-based mineral industry, have been instrumental in producing limestone and lime products essential for sectors such as steelmaking and agriculture. Jeff Gideon, Vice President of Local 142, emphasized, “Our members have made this company a global leader in the calcium-based mineral industry...This contract ensures that their compensation reflects the vital nature of that work.”

Tony Kostelnick, a seasoned union steward, expressed his pride, stating, “I am so proud of my union brothers for sticking together. Thank you to Local 142 for having our backs and negotiating a fair contract that we can be proud of.”
