The California Transportation Commission (CTC) has allocated $1.9 billion to support critical transportation infrastructure projects. These projects are key to supporting the world’s fifth largest economy.

The funding will substantially benefit a range of areas including bridges, roadways, and transit. It will also enhance facilities for pedestrians and cyclists. The latest allocations include $430 million from the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA) and $740 million via Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
