(SPARTA, Wis.) – Dairy workers affiliated with Teamsters Local 120 at Foremost Farms USA have successfully secured a substantial four-year contract. This agreement promises increased wages, enhanced pension plans, and improved healthcare benefits for the workforce.

“This company has generated a lot of revenue because of our hard work,” stated Brad Lusk, a Local 120 shop steward. “We fought hard for this contract, and now every worker at this company is better off because we were ready to strike to get what we deserved.”

The significant improvements come on the heels of a strike authorization by the workers, which propelled management to address their demands. The newly ratified contract includes not only better pay and benefits but also a tripling of the night shift premium rate, additional bereavement leave, and a doubled allowance for work boots.

“It’s about time Foremost Farms USA starts to recognize what Teamsters members have known all along. Workers are responsible for the success of this company, so it’s only right that we get great health care and other benefits,” remarked Tiffany Kagel, a business agent for Local 120.

Cory Holliday, another Local 120 shop steward, emphasized the resolve of the workers: “We’re willing to do whatever it takes to get a fair contract. So is every other Teamster at this company.”

Workers at almost all Foremost Farms USA facilities are represented by Local 120 and Teamsters Local 662, showcasing the widespread influence of the Teamsters within the company.

Teamsters Local 120 is proud to represent over 15,000 members across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. For further details, visit local120.org.
