Striking Workers Plan Rallies Across California to Gain Support

Community Support Grows for Striking Workers at Pasadena Church Visit

During a recent Sunday visit to Greg Adams’ church, a group of approximately 50 striking workers received a warm reception from parishioners, despite Adams' absence. The churchgoers expressed their support for the workers' cause, encouraging the delegation to continue their efforts. Plans are underway for another visit to the Pasadena church, where more discussions with parishioners are expected. Those interested in joining can sign up here.

As the strike action intensifies, several rallies and activities are scheduled for the upcoming week:

  • Anaheim: On Friday, March 21, a presence will be maintained outside the Kaiser Psychiatry Symposium at the Sheraton Park Hotel, 1855 S Harbor Blvd, from 8am to 2pm, with a rally set for 12pm.
  • San Diego: Scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, activities will occur outside the Orcutt Building, 4511 Orcutt Ave. Picketing will take place from 10am to 3pm, with a rally and action from 11am to 1pm.
  • Pasadena: On Wednesday, March 26, events will be held at the Kaiser Southern California Headquarters, The Walnut Center, 393 East Walnut St. Picketing will be from 10am to 2pm, with a rally and action from 11am to 1pm.
  • Bakersfield: On Thursday, March 26, the Bakersfield Medical Office, 4900 California Ave, will host picketing from 10am to 2pm, with a rally at 11:15am.
