“This vote emphatically endorses our union,” voiced Ahmed Ansari, who teaches Technology, Culture and Society at Tandon School of Engineering. Ansari highlighted the frequent salary discrepancies affecting women and people of color among the faculty. The union's goal is to negotiate a contract promoting equitable working conditions at NYU, which will also benefit student learning environments.
