Kaiser Strike Reaches 100 Days with Vigils and High-Profile Support
Ongoing Efforts in Kaiser Healthcare Workers' Strike
The Unity Petition initiated by healthcare workers seeking fair treatment in their contractual negotiations has seen significant support, with more than half of the members having signed it in recent days. To demonstrate solidarity with the cause, individuals can add their name to the petition, emphasizing the collective commitment to secure a contract that ensures adequate behavioral healthcare for Kaiser patients.
This week marked the 100th day of the strike, a significant milestone commemorated with vigils in honor of Kaiser patients. The picket line was bolstered by the presence of notable figures such as Congressman Mark Levin and California Labor Federation President Lorena Gonzalez.
Following her visit to the picket line on Monday, California State Treasurer demonstrated continued support through a strong post on Facebook.
