Hawaiian Flight Attendants Reach Tentative Contract Extension Agreement
Hawaiian Flight Attendants Secure Tentative Contract Extension
HONOLULU (March 14, 2025) — Hawaiian Airlines' flight attendants have reached a Tentative Agreement on a Contract Extension that will last until February 2028. This development was announced by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA.
The extension promises ongoing pay raises, enhancements in retirement benefits, improved profit sharing, and lays out a robust framework as negotiations commence for a Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) this month. This agreement is particularly significant for flight attendants from both Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines, offering them an opportunity to benefit from the merger of the airlines.
Joni Kashiwai, AFA Hawaiian Negotiations Chair, emphasized the importance of the agreement, stating, "Hawaiian Flight Attendants deserve certainty and guaranteed improvements as we work towards our joint contract. This extension provides these certain economic improvements while joint contract negotiations begin this month.”
The terms of the Contract Extension include three scheduled pay increases, participation in the Alaska Air Group profit sharing program, and enhancements in scheduling. The tentative agreement will be subject to a vote by Hawaiian Flight Attendants, with voting closing on April 17, 2025.
