AFSCME Union Plus Scholarship Winners Announced for 2024 Awards
The Union Plus Scholarship Program, a significant initiative by the Union Plus Education Foundation, has once again recognized the academic ambitions of students from working families, awarding over $5.2 million since its inception in 1991. This year, 22 recipients have been selected, continuing the tradition of supporting educational pursuits.
2024 Union Plus Scholarship Recipients
A diverse group of individuals from across the United States have been honored this year. Their ties to the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) are through either direct membership or family connections. The scholarships, ranging from $500 to $4,000, are one-time awards meant to assist with post-secondary education this fall.
