North America's Building Trades Unions Ready to Collaborate with National Energy Dominance Council
WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 17, 2025 – In a pivotal development for America's energy landscape, North America's Building Trades Unions (NABTU) have expressed their readiness to engage with the recently formed National Energy Dominance Council. The Council was established by the White House to address the nation's growing energy needs and is chaired by Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, with Secretary of Energy Chris Wright serving as vice-chair.
In a recent statement, NABTU President Sean McGarvey emphasized the importance of this collaboration at a time when the U.S. faces increasing energy demands driven by advancements in artificial intelligence and emerging global power dynamics. "The men and women of the Building Trades have built the existing energy infrastructure of this nation and are eager to partner with this Council," McGarvey stated. He highlighted NABTU's commitment to advancing America's comprehensive energy strategy and expanding the domestic power supply.
